Mission and Vision

The Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce exist to improve the overall business climate for its members through sponsorship of programs which stimulate economic growth, promote civic development, and enhance political action.

Current Bylaws

  • The Chamber is a membership association established to unite business and professional leaders and firms, creating a central agency which lends itself to improving business and building a better community.
  • The Chamber of Commerce is people who share the desire to improve the community and condition under which business is conducted.
  • The Chamber enables the people to accomplish collectively what no one could do individually, creating a pool of resources for the community from which can be drawn ideas, energy, and finances.
  • Today, Chambers of Commerce have become organizations for the total community, recognizing and bring the resources to bear which strengthen and better the community.
