News from Edgecombe Community College September 3, 2020 State Farm donates masks to ECC State Farm recently donated 200 disposable surgical masks to Edgecombe Community College. According to Greg Sessoms, Tarboro agent, State Farm provided each office with $500 to invest in community service projects. The Tarboro office is using the funds to distribute personal protective equipment to area schools, including ECC. Free food boxes on Friday ECC College and Career Readiness and the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina are giving away 500 boxes of food to area residents on Friday, September 4. The free food distribution event will take place on the College’s Rocky Mount and Tarboro campuses simultaneously, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Anyone can receive a free box of food, while supplies last, no questions asked.
