Just a reminder from the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles: After Oct. 1, 2020, individuals who visit secure locations such as federal buildings, military bases or nuclear plants, or plan to fly, will need a REAL ID. This ID is not required, but people may need to bring additional forms of identification, if they don’t have a REAL ID. Visit ncrealid.gov to see a list of required documents to obtain a REAL ID. A media toolkit is available.
