You don't want to miss this. Playgroups Are Starting Soon! Do you have children or grandchildren under the age of five or know parents of young children? Kaleidoscope Play and Learn Groups are a great way to meet other families and have fun while children are learning and playing! A new 16-week series begins the week of Feb. 10 (Feb. 26 for Spring Hope). 90 minute sessions are free of charge and are offered at four convenient locations: Down East Partnership for Children Tuesdays or Wednesdays, 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. Spaulding Family Resource Center, Spring Hope Wednesdays, 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. Edgecombe County Library, Tarboro Thursdays, 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. Cooley Library, Nashville Fridays, 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. During each group, families have free play, arts and crafts, healthy snacks and group time! Toy incentives and a possible $25 Walmart gift card are available. Register today! Triple P, the Positive Parenting Program, is very versatile and easy for families to access. Parents can work one on one with a trained practitioner on a variety of topics, in as little as 15 minutes or as long as 4 individual sessions. If caregivers are more comfortable in a group setting we offer both Seminars and Discussion Groups on certain pre-set topics for families with children ages birth to 5.
