It Feels Like Christmas in September So many exciting things are happening in Rocky Mount, Nash and Edgecombe Counties. There is excitement in the air, a pep in folks step, major industrial and economic development, and a lot of businesses sprouting up. And . . . we've only just begun! Just visit Carolinas Gateway Partnership, the Rocky Mount Area Chamber, the Nashville Chamber, or the Tarboro Chamber online for a listing of new members, a good number of events, and ribbon cuttings. We are especially pleased to bring full scholarships for those interested in the Entrepreneurial Mindset program. Deadline to apply is September 20 for classes beginning on September 24. Larema, Acholi language from Uganda for my friend, is truly a friend of local entrepreneurs. A wide array of baked goods were on display from Winde Jackson Cakes and Catering, Alimentaire Bakery, and Miranda's Sweet Addictions. A supply of fresh fruit was present for those seeking a natural sweetness. Save the Date!
