News from Edgecombe Community College March 19, 2021 KCST donates car for golf tournament prize Keihin Carolina System Technology has donated a 2021 Honda Accord Sport Turbo 2.0 liter 10-speed automatic as a hole-in-one prize for the Edgecombe Community College Foundation’s 35th Annual Golf Tournament on Thursday, April 22. Set at Maccripine Country Club, recent tournaments have netted about $20,000, which is used to fund student scholarships. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 golf tournament scheduled for October was postponed and rescheduled for next month. To register a team, please call the ECC Foundation Office at (252) 618-6650. Practical Nursing ranked #4 in NC ECC’s Practical Nursing program was recently ranked #4 in the state by Nursing Schools Almanac. The organization used data from 2013 through 2019 to calculate each school’s National Council Licensure Examination-Practical Nursing pass rate among first-time test takers. ECC boasts a perfect score and was listed fourth based on program size. The program has had a 100% pass rate since it began in 2011. See detailed results of Nursing Schools Almanac’s analysis.
