Important Information Nash County 4-H is working with our 4-H Leaders to return to face to face programming. However since the recent governor guidelines reducing inside numbers to 10, it will be very hard for clubs to meet unless they meet outside. It will be up to the 4-H Club Leader to decide if their club will meet and all clubs are welcome to work with our office to host the meetings outside at the Ag Center (even under the new executive order). For us to make this happen, we need members, parents and volunteers to complete a waiver and youth need to watch a video that is located within the form below. Leaders have been trained and must sign off on a waiver that they have completed the training. These must be complete before coming to a 4-H Club Meeting or 4-H Event. 4-H Club Clarification: Leaders will make the decision regarding their club meetings moving to Face to Face or staying virtual. Virtual club meetings are an option. If clubs decide to meet, leaders will need to ask 4-H club members to notify them of their participation and must have all required waivers signed. Club meetings would be held at the Ag Center based on availability. Prior to the meeting, the club leader and 4-H staff member will sanitize the tables and chairs. Members will have to check in, have their temperature taken, and follow all requirements of wearing a facemask, using hand sanitizer before and after the meeting and stay at least 6 ft. apart. There will be designated places for people to sit. Once the club meeting is over, all will need to exit the building to allow the leader and 4-H staff member to sanitize the tables and chairs. Parents that choose to stay for the club meeting may not be able to stay in the room that the meeting is taking place due to [phase mandated] inside number requirements. Leaders have to make plans based on the membership that has notified them of their participation. Members cannot simply show up at the door to attend without any notification or pre registration with their club leader. For County Wide 4-H Programs: All participants who plan to attend a county wide program, activity or event must register through Eventbrite. Members cannot simply show up at the door to attend without any notification or preregistration. Forms to Complete: 4-H Members must complete this FORM. Video is in the form. Parents, if you are planning to stay at a club meeting or 4-H event, you must have this FORM complete. Volunteer Leaders must complete the Adult F2F Training and sign off in the WAIVER FORM that you have completed the training. All forms must be completed one time for the remaining 4-H Club Year.
