December 7, 2018 Dr. McLeod greets Pattillo alumni Representatives of the W.A. Pattillo High School National Alumni Association recently met with Edgecombe Community College President Dr. Greg McLeod. The association was organized in 1978, and, in 1981, former students of Tarboro Colored High, W.A. Pattillo High, and Princeville Elementary schools gathered for the first reunion. Today, the annual reunion of the W.A. Pattillo High School National Alumni Association draws more than 250 alumni nationwide to the Edgecombe community. Nursing students support Heart Walk The ECC Student Nurses Association participated in the American Heart Association's Twin Counties Heart Walk on November 10. The students raised $1,780 for the American Heart Association. College personnel attend Ag Summit ECC administrators, faculty, and staff participated in the N.E.W. Business of Agriculture: Regional Opportunities for Growth in Nash, Edgecombe, and Wilson Counties held November 30 at Wilson Community College. During the Ag Summit, ECC promoted its upcoming new program in Baking and Pastry Arts that is slated to begin in Fall 2019.
