The one-year EMT-Paramedic course includes classroom instruction, clinical rotations, and an EMS field internship. Upon successful completion of the EMT-Paramedic program, graduates are eligible to take the North Carolina Paramedic certification exam. The gift is earmarked for the Eagle Fund, which was established by an anonymous donor to assist ECC students with financial emergencies. Honor society inducts twenty-six students ECC's Alpha Omega Nu chapter of Phi Theta Kappa inducted twenty-six students into its membership during a November 15 induction ceremony held on the Tarboro campus. Phi Theta Kappa is an honor society for students attending two-year schools.
