This year’s game, which will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Rocky Mount Athletic Stadium, will feature the Elizabeth City State University Vikings against their CIAA rival, the Winston-Salem State University Rams. Elizabeth City State finished 4-6 last season and features first-year coach Anthony Jones. Winston-Salem State completed the 2017 season with a 6-4 mark, ending a string of six straight CIAA Southern Division titles. “The city of Rocky Mount is excited to continue its partnership with Elizabeth City State University,” said Tameka Kenan-Norman, chief Communications and Marketing officer for the city of Rocky Mount. “We invite the media and citizens to attend the press conference, not only for updates on the latest news regarding the game, but to also learn about the additional activities that have made the event special for the past 21 years.” Pre-sale tickets are available for $20 by visiting the Parks & Recreation Department located on the third floor of the Frederick E.
