May 4, 2018 Graduation exercises set for May 11 On Friday, May 11, Edgecombe Community College will graduate 439 students, who will receive 536 curriculum degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Thirty-four of these students will be recognized for completing Adult High School Equivalency and Adult High School diplomas. Commencement will begin at 7 p.m. in Keihin Auditorium on the Tarboro campus. For those unable to attend, live streaming coverage of graduation exercises will be available online. Jim Rose, vice chair of the State Board of Community Colleges, will give the keynote address. Phi Theta Kappa is an honor society for students attending two-year schools. The guest speaker at the induction ceremony was Stephanie Fisher, vice president of administrative services and chief financial officer at ECC.
