April 20, 2018 NC Community College leader to speak at graduation Jim Rose, vice chair of the State Board of Community Colleges, will give the keynote address during Commencement at Edgecombe Community College on Friday, May 11. Commencement begins at 7 p.m. and will be held in Keihin Auditorium on the Tarboro campus. For those unable to attend, live streaming coverage of graduation exercises will be available online. ECC will graduate 439 students, who will receive 536 curriculum degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Thirty-four of these students will be recognized for completing Adult High School Equivalency and Adult High School diplomas. Barbering Club gives free haircuts at community event
