The fundraiser will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Buffalo Wild Wings located at 215 Ring Road in Rocky Mount. On Oct. 21, participants will present a ticket to their server. Ten percent of the total bill, not including tax, gratuity or promotional discounts, will be donated to the scholarship fund. “The Mayor’s Commission on Persons with Disabilities has been rewarding scholarships for several years, but this year they have increased their efforts by partnering with Buffalo Wild Wings,” said Jeffrey Walston, Human Relations specialist for the city of Rocky Mount. “The goal of this collaboration is to offer additional scholarships to deserving students.” Tickets are free and available in advance at the Human Relations Department on the first floor of the Frederick E. Turnage Municipal Building, 331 S. Franklin Street in Rocky Mount. On the day of the event, tickets will also be available at Buffalo Wild Wings.
