New Agriculture Agent Hired Maryanna Bennett joined the Nash County Agriculture Extension Staff on Wednesday, February 15th. She will have the responsibility of serving the farmers and agriculture community in providing educational programming, informational assistance and an active research outreach program related to field crops. This includes the crops of tobacco, cotton, peanuts, soybeans and corn in addition to new and emerging crops that can help improve farm income and increase agricultural opportunities. Maryanna is a graduate of University of Mount Olive with a degree in Agriculture Education and a concentration in Outreach and Development and Agriculture Production Systems. She has completed several internships and been employed with several agriculture producers in Nash County including Carolina Precision Ag Consulting and Leggett Farms. New Agriculture Agent Hired
Maryanna Bennett joined the Nash County Agriculture Extension Staff on Wednesday, February 15th.
