(Feb. 9, 2017) – U.S. Cellular’s location at 2520 Sunset Avenue, reopened today after being closed since October 2016 due to damage from the historic flooding from Hurricane Matthew. U.S. Cellular reinvested in this location to provide a wide range of communication services that enhance consumers’ lives, increase the competitiveness of local businesses and improve the efficiency of government operations in the Rocky Mount area. The renovated, high-engagement store layout shows off the latest devices, accessories and technology, and was designed with customers in mind. “Like many businesses in Nash County, we had substantial flood damage at our Sunset Avenue location in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew. We have worked to reopen this store as soon as possible to offer the best wireless experience for our customers with a fully restored store and the most knowledgeable associates in the industry,” said Jeremy Taylor, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in eastern North Carolina. “We’re thrilled to reopen this high-concept store in Rocky Mount, and we encourage everyone to stop in and learn about how you can get national coverage and a high-quality network.” This highly experiential store was built with state-of-the-art features that make shopping for the latest smartphones, tablets and accessories a fun and pleasant experience.
